I am pleased to show you my first ever YouTube video. My memory being as it is due to my illness, I thought what better way to learn the rules of a complex board game? Make a video with tons of takes and edit the crap out of it so I am exposed to the rules and images several times over. Then I thought... hmmm.. maybe someone out there in the big wide world could use the end product. So here you are, my fellows! Subject: How to Set Up the complex and awesome game of Arkham Horror, a Call of Cthulhu Game by Richard Launius (neat name!) and Kevin Wilson (your name sucks.. kidding, I love Kevin and Wilson altogether too much) and produced by Fantasy Flight Games. Extra: H.P. Lovecraft, a genius gentleman of horror and suspense is the imagination behind the Cthulhu mythos - a set of entwining stories of stygian nightmares and ancient omnipotent malevolent Gods - who has inspired horror writers immensely. Totally worth a Google. Movie Creation: I had initially asked my cousin's band, SoundAsleep for use of their awesome music to score this video, however iMovie doesn't let me move the location of the music.. I need a better suite of programs. I am going to make a music video for one of the songs, however, it's long been a goal of mine hobby-wise. I instead made use of the sound effects and slowed them down to make some rather creepy sounds for creepiness' sake. What you're hearing are seagulls, sheep, roosters, thunder.. and um.. something else that evades my memory. I also wanted to give the vid itself some otherworld quality with the effects, Sorry if it sucks. Please like, if you like, as it would make me smile. If you feel like trolling the comments, there's not much I can do for you, although I suggest playing a violent yet silly game, eating chocolate, therapy or a good old fashion "tension reliever ;)" that always helps me when I feel angry or frustrated. Hey, I am not going to do that for you... c'mon. I draw the line at advice, no facilitation! Please be nice, though, there are some fragile folks out there. Even if you hate this video, thanks for giving me almost 6 mins of your life... muahahaha! MINE! Be nice, be happy, and play lots. And relieve tension.
