Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has said that Iraq's battle against al-Qaeda would continue as bomb attacks across the country killed more than 50 people. The army is locked in a standoff with Sunni militants who overran Fallujah, a city west of Baghdad, more than two weeks ago in a challenge to Maliki's government.
